Family Ties: a wellness program
"Family Ties" is a health and wellness program where individuals can learn about the human body, mind and spirit from Pleasant Valley Hospital affiliates healthcare professionals.

Programs involve an approximate 30-minute presentation, which includes a 10-minute question and answer session.
Who benefits from the program

"Family Ties" is designed for business, industries, church groups, various community organizations, individuals and schools. Meetings are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Those requesting the program must offer alternate topic selections and dates, in case their first choice is already scheduled. At 30-day notice is requested and programs may be scheduled up to a year in advance.
Program Goals

The goal of the program is promote health through better understanding of what wellness is and how to pursue it on a personalized level.
You will learn how to heighten awareness of lifestyle factors both on an individual and family health level. We will also provide an informational base for making important decisions about life and death, enhance knowledge about hospital facilities and careers to improve the image of Pleasant Valley Hospital as a provider of quality and informative healthcare services.
